Recommended Submission Documents

To ensure the most accurate scope evaluation and fixed-fee proposal, please include:

  • Architectural floor plans, elevations, wall sections, and schedules
  • Structural foundation plans, framing layouts, and general structural notes
  • Civil sitework, grading, cut/fill profiles, and site utility drawings
  • Mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) plans and equipment schedules
  • Project Manual CSI specifications (Divisions 00 through 33)
  • All posted contract Addenda, bulletins, and geotechnical soil reports
  • Any trade-specific exclusions, inclusions, or specific wage requirements

All architectural drawings, project manuals, and contractor scope notes submitted to InSite Estimating are maintained under strict commercial confidentiality. We never disclose proprietary bidding information or trade pricing.

1. Scope Audit

Within hours of receiving your plans, a senior estimator indexes your sheet count, reviews notes, and evaluates drawing completeness.

2. Fixed Proposal

You receive a clear, itemized proposal confirming the exact deliverables, turnaround deadline, and guaranteed fixed fee.

3. Plan Calibration

Upon authorization, our team calibrates planimeter scales across two axes and cross-references specifications against drawings.

4. Quantification

Assemblies are measured net in-place. Material scrap, labor hours, and equipment are modeled according to CSI MasterFormat standards.

5. Senior Review

An independent peer review validates mathematical formulas, unit pricing, and scope inclusions before transmitting your final package.

Deliverable Handover

You receive an unlocked, audit-ready Microsoft Excel workbook and color-coded vector PDF plan set ready for your bid closing.
